Ively Technologies ("Ively", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Ively SmartEye™ mobile application (the "App") and related cloud services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the App as an authorized user of an enterprise customer ("Customer").

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Account and authentication data: username, email address, organization/customer identifier, authentication tokens, and multi-factor authentication status provided by your administrator or during login.

Device information: device type, operating system version, app version, push notification token (FCM/APNs), and device registration identifiers used to deliver alerts.

Biometric data: if you enable biometric unlock, authentication is performed on your device using the platform secure enclave (fingerprint or face recognition). We do not collect or store your biometric templates on our servers.

Surveillance and analytics data: alerts, incident metadata, thumbnails, video clip references, camera names, site information, and analytics summaries accessible through your Customer account. Video streams are processed per your organization's deployment; the App displays data authorized for your role.

Usage and diagnostics: crash reports, performance logs, and error diagnostics when enabled, to improve reliability and security.

Support interactions: information you submit through in-app Help & Support tickets.

2. How We Use Information

• Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions
• Deliver real-time alerts, notifications, and dashboard content
• Provide search, reporting, and incident review features
• Register devices for push notifications
• Improve app stability, security, and performance
• Respond to support requests and administer enterprise accounts
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

3. Legal Basis (where applicable)

We process personal data based on: (a) performance of a contract with your organization; (b) legitimate interests in securing and operating the service; (c) your consent where required (e.g., optional analytics or notifications); and (d) compliance with law.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Your organization (Customer): administrators who provision accounts and manage surveillance deployments
• Service providers: cloud hosting, Firebase/Google (push notifications and crash reporting), and infrastructure partners under contractual safeguards
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety

5. Data Retention

We retain data according to your organization's subscription and retention settings. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device. Server-side retention of alerts and incident data is governed by your Customer administrator and applicable agreements.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption, secure token storage (Keychain/Keystore), optional certificate pinning in production builds, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please report suspected issues to info@ivelytech.com.

7. Your Choices

• Manage notification preferences in the App settings
• Enable or disable biometric unlock in App preferences
• Disable crash reporting in App preferences (where offered)
• Contact your organization administrator for account access, correction, or deletion requests

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for authorized business users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. International Transfers

Data may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. Appropriate safeguards are applied as required by applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
